Pause & Reflect- Oedipus
1. Oedipus will be an excellent leader, he's very wise, he was able to figure out the riddle and free the people from the Sphinx.
2. The king's death was the cause of the Plague in Thebes.
3. Generations strewn on the ground unburied unwept, the dead spreading death. Wails for mercy rise clashing with ours sobs our cries of mourning.
4. Let that man drag out his life in agony, step by painful step- I curse myself as well.... if by any chance he proves to be an inmate of our house, here at my heart, with my full knowledge, may the curse I just called strike down on him strike me.
5. Tiresias names Oedipus the murder of Laius.
6. Tiresias plotted to kill him and still his crown and power thats, why Oedipus turned against Tiresias.
7. Oedipus becomes fearful because he had an en counter at that plac and killled a man, so he feared that he was the killer of Laius.
8. Oedipus learned that Polybus(his adopted father) died.
9. He was found by a herdsman pinned by his ankles to hedge of a mountain, he took him to another city and was adpoted by Polybus and his wife.
10. That he was the little baby the sheperd saved.
11. He takes a pin from his wife(mother) dress and stabbed his eyes out.

Pro-choice
I agree that there are other options beside abortion like adoption, but its like when you have a baby, giving your baby up to someone else is just hard if not harder than having a abortion. Even though when you give your baby up for adoption your giving him/her a chance to live, or even better live a better life than you could give. So I do agree with pro-choice and the the other options.

Mandela and Pericles
1. "So and such they were, these men-worthy of their city. We who remain behind may be hope to be spared their fate, but must resolveto keeep the same daring spirit against the foe."
" Today's occassion speaks of our resolve to preserve the memories of our heros and heroines; to keep alive the flame of pariotism which burnt in the hearts and minds of those like Steve Biko."
Biko and the soliders both had to keep their spirits up and fight for those they loved and what they believed in, that's what they have in common.
2. Biko was a dreat example of a hero that fought to keep South Africa a properous nation, which was Mandela's hope to accomplish for his country: Forging a new and properous nation.

Homosexuality
I don't think nothing of homosexuality I mean you like who you like, you like what you like but when it comes down to it your going to hell its in the bible god is perfect wasn't nobody born gay don't go believen Oprah there's no gay gene cause if there was they would have found it by now. Other than that I have no problems with homosexuality as long you don't try me we good!!
Egyptian Literature

2. Gods have(showed) human feelings like love, hate, jealousy, etc.
3.Athenian democracy allowed any citzen to be apart of the assembly, propose laws, and many positions were paid so poor citzens could hold office.
4. Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle are the three greatest thinkers of anicient Greece.
5.Some events included in Olympic games are: wrestling, boxing, discus throws,and races of all kind.
6. Using the letters to represent all the sounds in the Greek language.
